The 1963 Chevy truck had a few minor changes over the 62 model year. The grill was changed to an egg carton design and the word Chevrolet was embossed across the bottom. The headlights had smaller bezels around them and the side emblems had small changes but the majority of the truck remained the same. As for the 1963 Chevy truck parts, this was the first year the 230 CI and the 292 CI engines were used. The front suspension was changed to use variable spring coils and the clutch was upgraded a bit.
This 1963 Chevy truck for sale on Craigslist in Utah appealed to me because it’s sitting all alone in a field. It’s really how I picture old trucks for some reason. Just lonely and abandoned in an empty field. There wasn’t a whole lot of information with this listing so the only thing I can tell you is that it’s some TLC and the owner wanted $1500 for it. I’m not sold on the truck, but I am sold on the land. I love open grasslands with a mountain backdrop. It reminds of traveling through Wyoming and Colorado which our family did yearly on it’s way to our grandparents cabin. Some people would call the land empty and boring but I describe it as tranquil.
I don’t have much info on this 63 Chevy Fire truck other than it supposedly runs good. I included on this site because it’s not something you see everyday, let alone have an opportunity to purchase. It would pretty sweet taking it to car shows or a block party to hose down the children. The listing has long been removed from Craigslist but it was listed in California for $12,000.
Here we have nicely restored green 1963 Chevy pickup. It sold on Ebay for $12,000 which is a good price for the condition that it’s in. I’ve seen some of these restorations selling for $20,000 and it would probably cost close to that to turn the sad old truck in the field into this fine automobile. The engine in this 1963 Chevy Apache C10 is a 350 V8. The listing said the truck had 60,000 miles on it. For someone like myself that really doesn’t have the patience or energy to restore a truck this would be a good one to have. I’m into instant gratification. I hear from old people on the news that’s it’s a problem with our generation.
