Today we take a look at three 1980 Chevy trucks for sale across the internet. They are found in the usual places like Craigslist and Ebay. The first 1980 Chevy truck is a lifted Silverado that is a bit beat but has some potential. The second is a lifted 1980 Chevy Scottsdale with some intimidating tires and the third is a 1980 Chevy Blazer that is in too bad of shape to be anything except of parts vehicle. Which is important because original 1980 Chevy truck parts aren’t exactly being made anymore.
I’ve got to tell you that I love surfing around the web for old trucks. Especially lifted ones. Chevy is of course as American of a brand as you can come across but I fancy myself a man of the world so I’ve got some Middle Eastern music playing to inspire me today. Honestly, if I lived in the Middle East and this was the only music available to me, I would probably pray for some tragic accident to deafen me but listening to it once a year isn’t so bad.
Our first truck of the day happens to be my favorite. It’s a lifted 1980 Chevy Silverado that was listed on Craigslist for $3500. I don’t know much about it other than it’s a 4×4 equipped with a roll bar that has some lights attached. I’ve always liked that look for a truck and the older I get, the more I like older, slightly beat up trucks. There is something about a well used truck that inspires love for the vehicle. I’ve only bought one brand new vehicle in my life, a 2009 Dodge Challenger and I love it but I’ve decided it will be the last new vehicle I ever buy. I would rather own something that doesn’t drain my pocket built and doesn’t concern me if someone happens to scratch or dent it.
Our next 1980 Chevy truck for sale is a lifted Scottsdale equipped with super swamper tires and a 12 inch lift. A twelve inch lift and super swamper tires should be more than enough to get your blood flowing and for a price tag of $3400 it’s a good deal as well. That’s been the one benefit of the down economy. Deals. The tires and lift alone cost probably close to $2000 and the body of this Scottsdale appears to be in pretty good shape considering it’s age. Finding an 80 Chevy truck that doesn’t need lots of work isn’t the most difficult task in the world but it’s not easy either. I only found about three for sale across the internet.
Our last vehicle is a 1980 Chevy Blazer that could be used for parts. As you can see from the picture, it is not in good shape and is missing an engine. Engines are kind of important when it comes to operating a vehicle. There was no price tag on this listing but I can tell you that the rear window is good and much of the trim is still in good condition. One of the doors might be salvageable and the rims could be passable as well. The owner did mention that he has several engines lying around if that is what you are in the market for.
