Nissan Frontier tires should match the purpose and look of your truck. You know this, I know this. You would think that everyone would know this, but it simply isn’t the case. Buying parts for your truck should be no different than buying clothes for yourself. Buy things that match. Now being a man I sometimes fail at matching my clothes and sometimes I just don’t have enough clean clothes to actually match them up but clothes are worn for a day. Nissan Frontier rims for instance may be for life. Please take care and choose wisely.
As the old Knight says in Indian Jones and the Last Crusade, “He chose poorly.” The Nissan Titan wheels shown above are not a disaster by any means. For example, they aren’t pink, which I have seen. But they just don’t look good on this truck. Something about them doesn’t match. They stand out too much in a distracting way. The rims and tires themselves would look perfectly fine on a different truck. Perhaps an all black one. I give this person a pass however as it’s possible that my tastes simply don’t match up with theirs. I could see, but wouldn’t condone, someone else liking the wheels on this truck.
I feel that these Nissan Titan rims would look much better on the truck above. They’ve got the black in them that the person clearly loved, but they also have a nice bit of chrome to give the truck some pop and match up with the chrome that’s on the grill and back bumper.
Listen up men because this is one of the few tips I have. The easiest way to make sure that something matches is if there are similar elements, ie. color, in the thing you are trying to match it to. Trying to match a tie to your blue dress shirt? Are there similar colors of blue in the tie? Viola!
I saved the most boring picture for last because most people don’t read this far anyway. Sadly, the Nissan Frontier tires and rims you see on this truck are what most of them have because it’s the factory standard. Now, odds are this was simply a work truck or and old man’s truck that didn’t need anything special but come on man! It’s so boring and dull. Somebody needs to write in to Nissan and tell them its ok to have cool looking rims right of the assembly line. Granted this is from 1999 but that’s no excuse.
