Early Bronco

The early bronco is a popular car for collectors and restoration projects. The problem is finding an early Ford bronco with a body that is in acceptable condition. These vehicles have been known to have rust problems and now that it’s been forty plus years since they were made, rust is expected to come into play. So, add up the fact that they are highly collectible, old, and susceptible to rust, and you’ve got yourself a potentially difficult project. On the positive side of things, if you find one that’s in great condition, people are going to take notice.

Since these are classic off-roading vehicles, you are more likely to find them in areas where off-roading is more popular, such as Arizona. It’s also very popular to remove the top of the early bronco for an open jeep feel. So areas that are sunny year round have higher concentrations of early broncos. Again, Arizona is good choice but, think Colorado, Florida, and California as well. These states also have a high concentration of wealth and a restored bronco can be a status symbol, leaving you with some nice options that are already restored. Let’s take a look at a few.

This bronco is not in great condition but it does come equipped with a small child so that’s nice. If you have no use for children you could always part him out. I hear Mexico needs kidneys. Actually, this bronco might need to be parted out as well. Find the right buyers and you might turn a healthy profit. Early bronco parts aren’t exactly being made anymore. Or just do like my neighbors do and pretend like you are going to use the parts for a restoration project but instead just leave them scattered throughout your lawn.

On the other hand, broncos make great rock crawlers so if you have the time, energy, and money to get it done, be my guest. And when you take it out for its first rock crawl, take that small child with you. He needs some exercise after being locked in the attic for so many days.
