1977 Chevy Truck – Snow Plow and Dump Truck

Last post I went into a small tangent about a truck listing that suggested the truck would be a good snow plow, so it’s only fitting that in this post I list an actual truck for sale that is already equipped with a snow plow. Beyond that, we also have a lifted 1977 Chevy truck for sale and a 77 Chevy C60 dump truck. It should be fun so let’s get straight to it.

So here it is. The 77 Chevy truck equipped with snow plow. Considering the winter is nearly over this listing might be a bit late in reaching it’s target audience. You can see from the picture that it’s not in the greatest shape but it does run and it’s only $1400. How well it runs is another question. The owner listed that’s been mostly sitting for the last four years and could use new plugs and wires. I’m sure it needs a lot more than that, otherwise it might become an expensive lawn ornament. Still better looking than a pink flamingo though.

This lifted 1977 Chevy pickup is in better condition than the snow plow and I like how there is a stepping stool in the picture. My question is, do they have to take the stepping stool with them wherever they go so they can continue to get in and out of the truck?

The paint job is new and it has had recent body work completed. The 350 engine has been overhauled as well, so three of the more expensive jobs have been completed already. There was no listing price and the post has recently been removed from Craigslist so this truck remains a bit of a mystery.

I know only a select few are actually in the market for a dump truck but I like posting them here because it’s a good opportunity to check out some of the old commercial truck offerings that aren’t seen very often. There is quite a bit of rusting on the dump so it would take a little bit of work to restore. However, if it’s actually going to be used for hauling and dumping the person that buys it probably won’t care about it’s looks as long as it runs. I used to work for the local parks department and got to drive a 1983 trash truck around the park. The transmission wasn’t the best and it had to be started in 2nd gear but it hauled trash (and maggots) like a dream.
