1986 Chevy Truck – Silverado and 1500

Welcome truck enthusiasts!  It’s time once again to see what wonderful vehicles the internet has to offer.  Today is going to be all about the 1986 Chevy truck.  We are featuring three different trucks.  A 1986 Chevy Silverado that has been well taken care of, a propane driven 1500 and an 86 Chevy Blazer located in sunny California.  All three of them were recently listed for sale across the web but these listings change quickly so use them as a guide if you are searching for a new truck, or just do what I do and admire them while suppressing the urge to actually buy one.

My favorite truck of the day is this 1986 Chevy Silverado for sale in Elk River, Minnesota. It comes equipped with a 350 engine, an eight inch suspension lift and three inch body lift, four nearly new thirty seven inch Super Swamper tires, a spare Super Swamper, and DVD player. It really is a fantastic looking truck. The owner says he invested $8,000 into it and I believe him. However, it can all be yours for the low low price of $5,000. Search the Minnesota Craigslist to see if it still available.

This 1986 Chevy truck for sale northwest Connecticut is unique in the fact that is driven by propane, not gasoline. With ever increasing gas prices this could be quite the selling point, although I really have no idea what the relative cost of propane to gasoline is.

This propane Chevy is listed for $2500 and is a work in progress. The owner drives it occasionally but says that it needs to be finished or parted out. It has a six inch suspension lift and three inch body lift. The tires are thirty eight inch boggers. The engine is a 350 with eighty thousand miles on it. As far as work goes, it needs some body work, a new steering box comes with it but still needs to be installed, it needs a new front drive shaft, and other miscellaneous parts like new seats are needed as well.

Our final vehicle of the day is a 1986 Chevy Blazer for sale in California. I’m mainly including it here because I like Blazers with the top removed. I like them even more when it’s chopped so the whole top can be removed. I think it’s the coolest summer vehicle in existence. I might just move to Arizona or California for the sole purpose of driving one. The one listed here has 108,000 miles on it and can be had for $2,600. Seems like a fair price to me but this would be an emotional/impulse type decision for me which always clouds my judgement. Luckily I don’t get that same impulse whenever I see a new ab machine on T.V. My basement just doesn’t have the room to store them. 😉
