Today we are featuring three 1987 Chevy trucks for sale. As per usual, all three of them are lifted because life is too short to sit low.
With all electric vehicles taking over the hearts and minds of our government and our populace, who knows how much longer these over sized behemoths will be with us. I imagine that at some point, a law or regulation will be passed to outlaw them. My only question is, how will the law get to us when we are way up here and they are way down there?
First up is a 1987 Chevy Silverado for sale in northern Michigan. Michigan is well known for their militias so I would hate to be the man that tries to take a big truck out of their “cold, dead, hands.”
This Silverado is a diesel, as you might have guessed from the smoke stacks directly behind the cab. The engine is 6.2 liters that only has 25,000 miles on it since it was overhauled. This truck is a also a 4×4, the way it should be. It’s been equipped with a 6 inch rough country lift and custom bucket seats. The owner is asking $6,900 for it so hit up your Michigan craigslist if you happen to be interested.
Next we have a 1987 Chevy Suburban for sale in Jamestown, North Carolina. The angle of the picture kind of makes it look like hydraulics have been installed but I assure you that is not the case. However, it does have a formidable 8.5 inch lift and some nice sized tires. Hit up ebay and it can be yours for $5,600 or less.
I kind of miss these old suburbans. They were good hunting trucks. Lots of room for a dog crate, guns, and a horde of sleepy, gassy men just itching to kill something. You don’t see many new suburbans around these days. Granted they are close to $50,000 for a new one.
Coming in third is a 1987 Chevy Blazer that’s a bit worn out. The hood and roof are in desperate need of new paint, the dash is cracked, and the interior carpet has been removed. But it supposedly runs good so maybe that’s worth the $2500 they are asking for it. If you happen to live in Charleston, South Carolina you can check out this Blazer on craigslist.
I’ve always wanted to visit Charleston. It looks like an amazing city and has a lot of history. But the plane tickets are too damn high! That’s why Jimmy McMillan and I are forming, “The Plane Tickets are too Damn High!” party and running for President.
