What are the odds that if you are looking for used trucks for sale you are looking for one that is jacked up? And what are the odds that if you weren’t, you are now? I’m guessing they are pretty good so I’m presenting, purely for your pleasure, three jacked up trucks for sale across our great nation. Naturally one of these trucks is located in Texas, the reigning truck state king. There is something about trucks and cowboy boots that go hand in hand. So let’s get to it shall we.
There is no shortage of used trucks for sale in Texas. I grew up in Oklahoma which has an exceptional number of trucks on the road but Texas puts it to shame. And everything is bigger in Texas, including this lifted F250 King Ranch. The price tag is big too. $38,000 worth of bids on ebay wasn’t enough to purchase this beauty. Why the high price you ask? Well, let’s take a closer look.
The rims are 20 inch and the tires are 37 inches. Those two items alone are worth more than many cars on the road. This 2008 F250 is also a 4×4 and has been lifted. The engine is a 6.4 powerstroke twin turbo diesel with only 34,000 miles on it. The truck is loaded, it’s that simple. A navigation system, sunroof, DVD player, and back-up camera in the rear-view mirror are only a few of the options. If you have the cash you will definitely ride in style.
Next is a used truck for sale in Ohio. This one is a little more affordable for most of us. It’s a 1978 Ford F150 4×4 with 33 inch tires. I found it on Craigslist for $2500. Obviously a 1978 isn’t going to have all of the creature comforts of the 2008 mega F250 I posted earlier but I think there is almost something wrong with a truck that is that comfortable. Who is going to want to use a $40,000 truck for real work? No, it would be more about showing off your purchasing power to the neighbors who will be jealous but throw around insults about your desperate attempt to compensate for some important male shortcomings. I want no part of that silliness or the monthly payments. My choice is the 1978 every day of the week.
Our last offering is a used truck for sale in New Mexico. It’s a 1978 Chevy short-bed with an impressive 12 inch lift and ridiculous 44 inch super swamper tires. If you live in the suburbs and you buy this truck, kill yourself. Seriously. Kill yourself. This truck is for country boys. Boys with a lot of land. Land that probably contains at least three rusted out automobiles that would be crushed by this beast if only they could be found in the tall grass. Considering this truck is in New Mexico, I will also recommend that it be used to further decimate some already barren landscape. Hopefully there are some large sand dunes close by that need to be concurred.
